Encosta do Monte

The whole family’s kindness is what stayed with me most. They made sure every request was taken care of, and breakfast the next morning was wonderful. I felt at home from the moment I arrived, with high quality furnishings and everything absolutely clean. I was here during my Camino, and although it’s outside Ponte de Lima itself, the owner came to pick me up in town so I didn’t have to walk farther. I’ll come back one day. Thanks for such generous hospitality!

The breakfast was generous, with pastries, breads, cereal, cheese, meats, yogurt, fruit, fresh juices, and a cake I loved so much I wanted to take the whole thing along. The woman who checked us in and out was so sweet and added a lot of charm. We only stayed one night at the start of our road trip, but the room was clean and cozy, and there’s plenty of parking behind the inn. It’s an easy five-minute drive to the free parking lot in the town center. I’d definitely recommend staying here in beautiful Ponte de Lima.

The owners are so kind, and their service is impeccable. It’s a family run local hotel with clean, cozy rooms, a great breakfast, and a small cafe serving coffee, beer, and snacks throughout the day. My wife, our three dogs, and I have stayed here many times on trips to Ponte de Lima. Highly recommend!
