Our suite had loads of space, two balconies and a private rooftop with a great view. We came for a relaxing couple’s escape and loved the room. The property was lovely, and we enjoyed meals at the restaurants as well as room service. The beach, pool and lounge areas were great too. We had a wonderful stay and plan to return, probably with the kids next time.

The included breakfast was good, and I enjoyed the Algarve and its warm, hospitable people. Still, the price is at the very top end for Portugal, and I’d choose a vacation rental closer to a usable beach next time. During my week there, the beach in front of the hotel was barely usable for one day, then covered in seaweed for the rest of the stay. It piled up several feet high and started to stink after the first day. For Portugal, the place is nice, but anyone expecting five-star service, rooms and grounds for that price should temper their expectations. I’d call it a solid four stars. Charging to use filthy, unkempt tennis courts was really disappointing, and housekeeping turning up at 9:30pm for turndown service felt odd. I enjoyed my time in the Algarve, but won’t stay here again. I wonder whether everyone giving the resort five stars has stayed at a real five-star resort. A cheaper five-star or highly rated four-star resort may be a better choice, since I doubt there’s a huge difference.

We made some fabulous memories here. The staff were the nicest people, always kind, upbeat and efficient. The resort kept surprising us with new restaurants, a stylish disco and a beautiful beach just a couple of minutes from where we had breakfast each day. Great food and a lovely vibe, thank you!

The beach is fairly small and not private, but you can reach it through a private entrance via wooden steps from the main pool. The property has sweeping views, beautifully maintained gardens and friendly, attentive service across all the outlets. There’s a wide choice of excellent restaurants, from casual dining to Michelin star and everything in between. Adults are considered to be 13 and above.

We were blown away by our honeymoon week at Vila Vita Parc. The resort looks even more beautiful in person than it does in the online photos, from the architecture and landscaping to the immaculate service. Every little detail made the trip feel special. No notes, 11/10, the nicest place I’ve ever stayed! We plan to return and would recommend it to anyone considering a European resort vacation. ☀️
