The music by the pool was good, and the chips were decent. If you don't like the menu, I guess you could just keep eating chips. Just remember the loungers at the hotel pool cost €1.50 a day. This was the cheapest all inclusive holiday I could find, so I wasn't expecting anything special and knew the standards might be poor. But it shouldn't really be called all inclusive when most things aren't included.
The apartment itself was amazing, with a beautiful interior and everything equipped. Its pools, restaurants and supermarkets weren't open in winter, but the ocean was only five minutes away. There were plenty of nearby restaurants, cafes and shops. Highly recommend.
It's a wonderful place to visit, and all the essential amenities nearby are easy to reach.
I absolutely love Portugal, and Praia da Rocha is the best beach in Europe. The hotel is just standard, so don't expect Hilton class. More like a two star hotel, but I love it.
I rented a T1 apartment at Clube Praia da Rocha 2, Bloco 2, Apt. 818 through Liliane Pereira. The rental itself went smoothly, but the checkout is where things changed. For the first 1.5 to 2 months, Liliane didn't send the water and electricity bills, even though I reminded her. I paid all the other bills that were properly provided during my stay. On checkout day she arrived very late, and I missed my flight. She then gave me an Excel sheet with water and electricity charges that looked suspicious and didn't seem to be based on actual invoices. By coincidence, those amounts used up my entire €550 deposit. I asked several times for the official bills, but she kept putting it off and eventually stopped replying. Watch your deposit.
