Hotel Made Inn

The location is great and the room was fine, but the staff were really impolite. I was travelling by bicycle, and they wouldn't let me keep my bike overnight, telling me to leave it on the street. It's hard to believe there wasn't a safe spot in a building like that where it could stay for a few hours at night. A little goodwill and common sense would've helped. Instead, the guy said the rules were the reason. Sometimes following rules blindly just doesn't make sense.

They asked me to pay city tax that wasn't included in the reservation. The pricing had zero transparency, and it felt like they were cheating on the price.

We had a comfortable, pleasant stay, despite arriving with low expectations after seeing some disappointing reviews and photos. For the price, it compares well with other hotels nearby and is affordable. The breakfast wasn't very good, and noise isolation wasn't great either. There aren't many services, no pool or minibar, and it's not near the beach. If you want more luxury, you'll need to spend more at one of the other hotels in the area.

When we came back from check-out, one of our belongings was missing from the bags we'd left at reception. The hotel told me there were no cameras in that area. This was a car trip, and the hotel was our only stop before going home, so only staff or other guests could have accessed our bags. A staff member named Giovanna treated me poorly, dismissed the situation as my problem, and said there was nothing she could do. She also just said it was “impossible,” instead of offering to look into it. As a paying customer, I expected some care and respect for my money and belongings. I had a terrible experience and wouldn't recommend this hotel or its service to anyone who doesn't want to be treated unfairly. The hotel is very small, and our room was tiny, even smaller than in the pictures, but we tried to put that aside and enjoy the stay. There were no parking spots close by, so we parked an 8-minute walk away. In 38-degree weather, we couldn't manage that walk with our bags, so we left them at reception during check-out.
