Be careful, this may be a scam. They won't refund your money even if you cancel within the free cancellation period. I wouldn't recommend booking this property.

We couldn't get into the Benagil caves, the main reason we booked the trip, because of the delay and sea conditions. Before that, we spent over an hour waiting in the heat on a catamaran that wouldn't start, with no clear explanation from Manguitus Company for excursions. They offered to move us to a Zodiac that cost half as much, but wouldn't refund the difference. To avoid missing the excursion entirely, we eventually left on a very old boat. I later noticed their website lists the price at €24.99, but they charged us €35. It was a very disappointing experience, poorly managed and nothing like what we paid for.

A nice place for late afternoon walks. It gets a bit tricky in peak season because of the number of visitors.

The beaches are lovely, and I enjoyed walking along the pedestrian street with its traditional Portuguese calçadas, browsing the shops and restaurants. Portimão has plenty to do for solo trips, families, or groups of friends, with restaurants for different tastes and hotels at a range of prices. Booking ahead is a good idea.
