The main downside is the noise. The nightclub across the road goes on past 1am, so light sleepers should bring earplugs, unless they're heading to the club themselves. The rooms and bathroom are dated, but a shower bracket would already make the bathroom better. There's no aircon, though it was fine in the 20-25 degree weather while I was there. On the plus side, the balcony looked out toward the ocean, and it was easy to get to the beach and back. The staff were friendly. I arrived late and ended up staying an extra night. Breakfast was simple, the coffee came hot, and the price felt about right.

We arrived late and only stayed one night. In the morning we moved on and booked somewhere else. The room was shabby and smelled bad, and the bed was dirty. There was no air conditioning, and the street noise made it impossible to air out the room. The nearby nightclubs kept the street party going until 6 am. On arrival, a grumpy, pot-bellied man greeted us and wasn't very friendly. Everyone should avoid this place.

The central location is handy, with easy access to the beach. Staff are friendly and the breakfast is decent. But there's no AC, only a fan, and the nightclub opposite played music so loudly in our room that we couldn't sleep. It didn't stop until 4am on Sunday night.

The main issue is the disco directly across the street. If you're not out partying, it's very loud at night even with the windows shut. Otherwise, the guesthouse was really good. It's close to the beach and right by shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and cozy, with a clean bathroom and warm water. Breakfast was included and had a nice range of bread rolls, croissants, jams, coffee, tea and juice. The staff were kind and very helpful. An ocean-facing balcony also gives you a view of the beach.
