We expected to spend a night or two at this private camping spot, but ended up staying the whole week. It’s ideal for a camper or small caravan, with helpful, welcoming hosts and a bunch of great, playful dogs. The grounds are arranged conveniently and kept clean. In winter, take care driving from Portimão: the shortest route goes through a small river, though there’s another way around.
Richard and Nanette made us feel very welcome, and their dogs were such fun and so friendly. It’s a really nice place to park the van, creative and playful, and clean too. We would’ve loved to stay longer. Definitely recommend it.
