Wyndham Residences Alvor Beach

The beach is only a few minutes away on foot, and the Wyndham Residences Alvor Beach is a handy base for exploring the region. We had a very pleasant stay. Our room was nicely furnished, with a beautiful sea view from the balcony. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. It was a lovely trip we’ll remember fondly.

We had a wonderful week at the Wyndham Alvor Residences, a perfect base for enjoying quaint Alvor. The staff were cheerful and delightful, and our clean, well-appointed room had a beautiful ocean view. Waking up to it, then having coffee on the balcony or wine in the evening, was a pleasure. The beach is just minutes away on foot, with a boardwalk and a good choice of restaurants along the shore. Town restaurants and a supermarket are a short walk away, and the Old Town, with its many restaurants, is about a 15-minute stroll. The pool is nice for a cooling dip when there isn’t time for the beach. Parking costs extra, but we found plenty of street parking. It was a delightful, relaxing stay.

The New Year dinner at the Wyndham was brilliant. The meal was first class, and the friendly, attentive staff gave excellent service. The music during and after dinner was top notch, and we danced with the other guests until after 2 am. We also watched the Harbour fireworks from the rooftop with a glass of bubbly and raisins. We were staying in Alvor over New Year and had booked the hotel for dinner. Well done, Wyndham, and thanks to the staff for a wonderful evening.

The apartment was amazing and well appointed, with beautiful views from the balcony. There’s a great pool with loungers and a snack bar, and plenty of spaces in the on-site car park. The staff were thoughtful, courteous, and friendly throughout our fantastic holiday. It felt like a little bit of luxury.
