The cooking class with chef Gi and the food were amazing, and the spa baths were a lovely way to unwind. I loved how every room represented a different emotion, and there were thoughtful touches everywhere, from the sweet welcome and room bag to hearts for writing letters. The lounge areas felt cozy and homey, and the beautiful setting and views made the whole stay feel special. The staff at Cooking & Nature were incredibly kind. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s truly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, and I can’t recommend it enough.

There isn’t much nearby, so you’ll need to drive or eat at the hotel restaurant. The setting in the mountains, near a small town, is really beautiful and peaceful. The property itself felt cozy and clean, with all the essentials. Breakfast came in a cute little basket, and I liked being able to get a drink whenever I wanted from the honesty bar.

The rooms were spacious and had a nice bath, and the hotel’s architecture and shared spaces were lovely. Parking was easy and free, which helped, and the friendly staff were happy to assist with anything we needed. The only drawback for us was the honesty bar. It had a great drink selection, but the prices felt a bit high, so we didn’t use it as much as we might have. We had a lovely stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting this beautiful area.

My best friend and I really noticed how much this hotel puts into creating little moments. Our room had its own emotion theme, and there was a handwritten note for my friend. We also liked the guest note wall, the honesty bar, the private cold plunge and saunas, and the comfy couches and swings around the hotel. The staff were deeply kind, and the setting was beautiful. Such a gorgeous, special place. I’d highly recommend it for a road trip up the coast.
