Dolinas Climbing Hotel

The hotel is cute and has potential. The heated pool was nice, and the bed was comfortable, though it had a split down the middle. Breakfast was average. It was still in its soft-opening phase while we were there.

Everything was spotless, and there was no noise inside or outside, so I slept really well. The reception and restaurant staff were outstanding. At dinner, they accommodated my request and made some of the dishes vegan. There's a restaurant, spa with a pool, climbing gym and spacious indoor parking. Hotel guests get 25% off climbing gym entry and equipment rental. It's not a full climbing complex, but there was enough to enjoy bouldering or rock climbing without leaving the hotel. The weight training gym had brand-new Technogym equipment. I had a great stay and would definitely come back.

The spa has a gorgeous view of the castle, but it was so crowded that every terrace chair was taken and there was nowhere to put a towel. With so many people, the pool water was dirty too, which was a shame. Maybe we'll try coming in winter and have better luck. It's a new, unusual hotel with an incredibly tall climbing wall. I especially loved being in bed, the linen, pillows and duvet were all very nice. Dinner needs to be booked ahead; otherwise, the nearby Moz'art restaurant in the park might be a better choice.

For a reasonable price, this is a brand-new spa hotel with what I think is the tallest artificial climbing wall, about 30 m high. The pool is small, and the spa gets overcrowded when the hotel is sold out. It would be perfect in the low season.
