We only managed to see the "Grutas de Minas de Aire" and a couple of "miradouros", plus make a quick stop in Fátima. The caves are something you have to see in person, the photos really don't capture them. We were already plotting another visit while still in the hotel parking lot, since there's so much more around here to explore. And we'll be coming back for the locally made olive oil too. It's the best we've ever tasted, and we've tried plenty. Next time, we're stocking up! 😁 The whole building has been renovated with such care, and the decor is beautiful. The service was amazing. They even have books packed with local tips and driving routes laid out for you, which made it easy to enjoy the area. 💯

My Expedia booking itself was all correct, but when I arrived at 7:00 PM, nobody was there and the door was shut. I called, and they told me to cancel, so I did. The refund never came through. Expedia's consumer team tried hard to sort it out, but nothing changed.

The peaceful terrace, the room, and the food all made my family's stay feel special. The owner has lived here for generations, and the place is beautiful. Obrigato Rito Hall Da Serra! It's a quiet retreat from the heavily touristy areas, with a short, lovely drive to stunning mountain and valley views. We saw deer, cattle, and towns below, at sunset and during the day. Nazare, obidos, and fatima are all an easy drive away. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're visiting those places.

The building has a striking design and a great atmosphere. Our room was spacious and clean, and the host was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was fresh and healthy, with some flexibility. Hiking trails are nearby, and there's a mini marcado within 150 meter.
