The Lidl next door was a handy bonus, and the hotel is well placed for beaches and trips to Cascais, Lisbon, and Sintra. We had a fun, positive stay and thought it was good value. The staff deserve credit for being friendly, keeping things clean, and helping at reception. Even with a rush at the coffee machine and a crowd grabbing food before tour buses, they stayed calm under pressure. Some guests call the included breakfast basic, but we found plenty to choose from: bread, cereal, croissants, fresh fruit, hard-boiled and scrambled eggs, cheese, meats, pancakes, yogurt, little cakes, and the delicious local Travesseiro pastry. The serving area could be laid out more efficiently, and adding cucumbers and other vegetables would help.

The Lidl beside the hotel is open every day from 7 am to 10 pm, which was a real plus. We had a golf and city break here and really enjoyed it. It was also well placed for both our golf courses and restaurants, just a short distance away.

Rita at reception made my recent stay disappointing. When I went to the desk, she came across as dismissive and unwelcoming, answered me in a rude tone, and didn't seem interested in helping with my questions. For a hotel of this standard, I expect basic courtesy and respect from the front desk, which is guests' first impression. I hope management takes the feedback seriously and improves the customer service.

The staff were very helpful. For a late booking, this is probably the best balance of price and quality. Just reserve through their website.

The breakfast needs work. The juice should be better quality, and they could walk over to the nearby Lidl, spend 20 euros, and add more kinds of cheese.
