There’s room to keep bikes if you rent them, and the yard has a hammock and a table. The rooms are right in the center of Vila Baleira, with a simple kitchenette that has the basics for making coffee or cooking a small meal. Lovely place.

We ended up changing the place. The customer service was poor, and it felt like the owner just wanted to make money from tourists. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We eventually booked somewhere else. The host, a woman, wanted to charge us the price of one night, and it felt like she was trying to cheat us. Terrible, wouldn’t recommend.

We asked for help canceling the reservation after an hour, once we realized it wasn’t the place we were looking for. The host immediately wanted to charge us, saying, “this is the cancellation policy.” As tourists, we expected better customer service. I’m disappointed with the attitude and poor service. I’d give zero if I could.
