I spent two months living here as a digital nomad in early fall 2023, and I already miss the charming guest house. It was spotless, safe, and full of character. The historic center is a 15-20 minute walk away, which worked perfectly for me since I wanted somewhere quieter to work. Marlene was a lovely host. She speaks English well, responds promptly, answers questions, and shares tips for exploring the area. I'd highly recommend this house.

Marlene was a fantastic host and gave me lots of useful information. The place was spotless and well kept, with original decor I thought was beautiful. My room was awesome, smelled really good, and had perfectly clean sheets and towels. It was just right for a solo traveler. I stayed for three nights and wished I could have stayed longer. The location was nice, about 15-20 minutes from the main attractions. One downside was some street noise. The buildings are old, with old windows, so the insulation isn't like what you get in North America. I highly recommend it!

Marlene, the owner, is caring and warm, and takes the time to share tips and recommendations for seeing Porto and experiencing Portuguese culture. The townhouse is lovely, right in Porto's historical center, opposite a cute plaza with a couple of places to eat and drink. The apartments were clean and nicely prepared, and housekeeping was kind and helpful with questions. From here you can take in one of Porto's best views, with the sunset over the Rio Douro coloring the surroundings. Free parking!

Marlene really looks after her guests and offers useful tips and recommendations for places to visit. The location is convenient, too. The guest house feels like home, is beautifully decorated, and is very well managed. I wouldn't change a thing.
