The room matched the pictures and had all the amenities, including air conditioning. I loved the shower, and the coffee pods were a nice touch. Extra towels arrived quickly when we asked, and the service was great. It was also easy to drop our bags off early since the room was ready, and after we checked out later in the afternoon, they kept our bags and brought them back when we messaged. Very easy and stress-free. We were happy with the location, close to many places we planned to visit and lots of restaurants, and we could see the Porto sign. It's worth knowing there's no regular hotel reception, but someone lives in the building and can help. Arrival instructions for the building, floor and room were clear. After 7 p.m., the building is locked and you need a private code. We had a problem one evening, messaged the manager, and he sent someone down straight away to let us in. They reset the code and it worked after that. The same code gets you into the section with the rooms, separate from the rest of the building, and a further code opens your room. It felt extremely secure. I'd stay here again and recommend it.

The room was new and clean, with a fantastic view. Support is available through WhatsApp, and the remote team was always ready to help. The location is perfect, right in the center of Porto.

The room was modern, nicely decorated and generally well equipped, with an amazing location and a great balcony view. But management handled a serious security and maintenance problem terribly. From check-in, we were told the room door needed fixing. The suggested fix was for a man to use a knife to wiggle it until the latch popped out, then lock us inside. The door still wouldn't consistently latch or stay shut. That was the last we saw of staff in person. Our WhatsApp reports and request to change rooms were ignored, or brushed off with promises that they were looking into it. Nobody came back. We had to take all our belongings and passports out each day and barricade the door at night. After we left, they sent a video showing the door working. We replied with evidence that it wasn't, and never heard from them again. There's also very loud music on Saturday night, which isn't their fault, but light sleepers should know. I wouldn't return or recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the wonderful view from the balcony and the beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was perfect and worth the price, so I'd definitely choose it. The remote reception was a little confusing, but everything worked out in the end.
