Fabio at reception was friendly and helpful. He took time to show me the facilities, and I could leave my bags before the official check-in time. The back garden was a real bright spot, peaceful and full of trees, including fruit trees. The WiFi was good, though it didn’t reach the garden. The rest of the stay left a lot to be desired. I’m not sure this should be called a guesthouse. The pictures in the listing didn’t quite match the actual place, especially the shared areas. The kitchen was extremely tiny, with room for only one person, and cooking made the whole living room smell of food. The shared bathroom smelled bad and didn’t seem to get cleaned often enough. The place felt old and in need of a proper refurbishment, and the pillow was so awful it could easily cause neck pain.

The staff were fantastic, and I’d definitely recommend this guest house for its price. Our room on the second floor was spacious and nicely presented, with good views and a decent bathroom. The shower head holder needs replacing, though. The kitchen and lounge were a big plus. We could prepare food we’d bought and eat it there. The location was okay, about a 10-minute walk from the nearest Metro and five minutes from McDonald's.

I’d give it zero stars if I could. The place smelled bad, the pillows felt worse than putting your head on a plastic bag, and getting hot water meant waiting at least five minutes. Cleanliness clearly wasn’t a priority. They even charge 2 euros for an extra towel. Ridiculous.

We booked for 17th of August untill 20th of august and gave the place a chance despite the noise and a barefoot kid running around when we arrived. After check-in, we photographed the problems as we usually do when traveling. The floor was clean, but the rest of the room wasn't: there were dirty marks on the duvet cover and the duvet itself was brown and dirty. A pole had no hangers, and the quilt underneath was filthy, covered in brown spots. There was also a squashed bug smeared across the wall and a dirty, hard plastic cover in the ceiling corner. The curtain let light in even at night. The bathroom smelled of damp and mold. The toilet lid was broken, and a wall right in front made it impossible to fit our legs when sitting on the toilet. The shower smelled bad too, and the shelf for shower gel and shampoo was dirty and rotten. The shower fan should have been yellow, but it was black with dirt. We barely slept because people were on phone calls, kids were screaming, and people kept going up and down the stairs. We had one towel each for all 3 days, and neither towels nor bed sheets were changed. A replacement towel cost 2€ each. These conditions didn't feel humane, sanitary, or safe.
