We waited nearly an hour outside in the rain at night because the owner wasn’t there at the agreed time to let us in. The place also felt damp, and it was very noisy overnight.

The location is the only reason for the one star.

There are stairs connecting the 3 levels, and the apartment has auxiliary heating/air conditioning. It was clean and beautiful, with towels and a fully equipped kitchen. It’s close to the Douro River and the Dom Luís I Bridge.
