BBA Apartments Palácio I - Douro View, Parking & Gym

The river view from the living room was a real treat, and I also enjoyed having access to the gym. I stayed four nights in this new, modern flat. It was bright, very clean, and tucked away somewhere quiet enough for a good night's sleep, even with the window open for a breeze. There was working air conditioning too. The bed was really comfortable, maybe memory foam, and the kitchen and laundry setup had everything I needed, from a kettle and coffee machine to a microwave, washing machine, and large freezer. Antonio made everything easy. Booking and late-night check-in went smoothly, the instructions were clear and detailed, and he answered questions promptly before, during, and after my stay. The flat is near the Super Bock, about 10 minutes from the riverfront restaurants and 25-30 minutes from the centre. There are bus and tram stops nearby, with a scenic route along the river. Casa de Musica metro is about a 30-minute walk, or 20 minutes at a brisk pace, but it's uphill and didn't seem ideal at night. There's a bus around the corner, and another metro station is being built less than a 10-minute walk away. I didn't use the garden, but it seems like a nice extra in such a built-up part of Porto. I didn't have a car, though on-site parking would be a definite plus in busy Porto. Thanks, Antonio. I'd recommend the apartment and his care, and hope to return.

We found the on-site parking useful, and the staff were quick and easy to reach when we needed help. The apartment itself was clean, roomy, and well equipped. Getting to the centre means a bit of walking, but that was fine for us. We stayed a few days in Porto and had a very good experience.

The hosts were very kind and easy to reach, and the apartment had a lovely feel to it. A great place to unwind while staying in Porto.
