Inside, the rooms are very clean and nicely fitted out. Some have exposed granite walls that look lovely and bring to mind old Portuguese homes. The TV room doubles as the breakfast room and has the same character. From the street, you might not expect a place like this, since there’s no sign outside. The owner was warm and welcoming.

The location isn’t the strongest point, but we felt fine walking there at night since the road stays busy. It’s about 15 minutes from the transport hub. Look for the little door opposite Cafe Campanha, where the owner is friendly and speaks great English. It’s easy to miss, especially after dark, so the host meets you there. Inside, there’s a great shared kitchen and living area, and loads of breakfast food. The host was exceptional. We’d gladly return and highly recommend it. Thank you.

The host was warm and friendly, and I had a pretty good stay. One inconvenience was having to leave the room to use the separate bathroom and shower, especially at night. The shower also took a while to warm up.

I was disappointed by how this was handled. I booked, then found out pets weren’t allowed and asked to cancel 10 days before check-in. The hotel refused and charged the full price. That policy feels unfair and not very customer-friendly, so I’ll need to find another hotel with better service.

It’s a good-value place with clean, cozy rooms and a breakfast with plenty of choice. Campanhã station is around a 15-minute walk away, and the service was good. I checked in very late at night; I spoke Portuguese with the owner, who also seemed comfortable with English. Just note the bathroom is shared. With the common rooms and fully equipped kitchen, this would be a good spot for a group of friends.
