You feel at home here. The house is clean and lovely, and everything about it felt just right. The street has a lovely view, and the place is right in the center of town. ❤👏

The beds were very comfortable, and the location is fantastic, on a fairly quiet cobblestone street about a 10-minute walk from the river and Ponte Luis II. The apartment has modern furnishings, but it’s clearly seen better days. The landlord should replace the completely rotten floor lamp and add storage in the cramped bathrooms. Ventilation in the small bathrooms doesn’t work. Air conditioning is advertised and available in the larger bedroom and living room, but not in the small bedroom, which has no window. The courtyard has no greenery and feels oppressive and musty. There’s no parking, though the listing does say that. Fine for a night or two, but I wouldn’t stay for a week.

The place is handy for a short city visit, and there’s nothing else I’d complain about. The finishes are excellent and it’s very comfortable. Still, we found no cutlery, toilet paper, or even water in the fridge. We never met the owner, which felt like a lack of hospitality.

The main bed has a really nice sleeping area, and the place is well equipped. We did find there was no toilet paper, though, and after we mentioned it, nobody got back to us.
