We stayed in apartment E, an old place with a lot of charm in a very interesting area. Pingo supermarket is close by. The Mini Mecardo across the road was rude and unfriendly. The metro is nearby, and Ingredja de Lapa and the cemetry are worth a visit.

We spent most of the stay dealing with a leak. I called on the first day, but they said they were full and offered no fix, just told us to watch it and see what happened. By midnight, water was pouring in while we tried to sleep. They didn't move us until the last day, and the replacement apartment was a 30-minute walk away, so we had to pay for transport.

Cozy and comfortable, just right for a few days!
