Clérigos Ville Porto Rooms

We were in the old town during the week, and it wasn’t too noisy. It might be different at the weekend, but they’d supplied earplugs. The place was just what we needed, with a great shower and a cute table outside. We didn’t really use the table, except to carry cups of tea back and forth. The kettle, fridge, utensils, corkscrew and mugs were kept in the foyer. There are lots of nice places to eat and good sights close by.

There’s no front desk, so keep in mind this isn’t a hotel. It’s a family business, and we had a great experience. They met us when we arrived and shared really helpful information. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a good amount of space and an extremely comfortable bed. The view of Clerigos church was excellent. I’d stay again.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the value for money is among the best in Porto. The location is hard to beat: right beside the Clerigos Tower, under five minutes from Livraria Lello, the Carmo and Carmelitas Churches, and close to São Bento train station and the subway. Great hotel.

Easy, no-fuss access, clean rooms, and a great location.
