We left early because we were worried we'd both get sick. In our ground floor apartment at ON Apartments, the mould smell in the hall and room was so strong that we were gasping for air. It gave me an instant headache and caused breathing trouble for my asthmatic husband, too. The odour lingered on our skin and clothes. At first the grey panels around the bed and on the stone walls looked like part of the design, but it was mould growing on the wall, a serious health hazard. When we told the staff, they suggested opening the window. That wasn't an acceptable fix: the apartment was on the ground floor in a busy area, and it was very cold outside. They offered us a different room in the same building for an additional €15 per person, even though we'd already paid for accommodation that wasn't up to standard. At least they could have offered the move free as a goodwill gesture. When we returned the key and explained why we were leaving, the staff didn't seem to care. We can't recommend the place, and would strongly advise people planning to book to stay away. It was falsely advertised and badly managed.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spacious, clean, stylish, and cozy, with everything we needed. The hosts were amazing, always helpful with tips on where to go and what to see. Their app with local recommendations made things easy and clear. It's in a central spot, close to the city center and lots of restaurants.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon in Portugal, and the owner left us stranded at 1:00 AM after my flight took 14 hours to arrive. I'd warned them about the delay well in advance, but when we got there they said they'd canceled the reservation and charged me the full amount. They said someone else had booked the room, yet I checked and it was still listed as available on Booking.com. This was the worst hospitality experience I've ever had, an absolute nightmare, with no empathy at all. Avoid this property if you expect even basic professionalism and hospitality.

We told the owner our flight was delayed by 14 hours, but when we arrived at 1:00 AM, they said they'd canceled the reservation and still charged us the full amount. They claimed the room had been rebooked, though it was still available on Booking.com. This ruined our honeymoon in Portugal. No empathy or professionalism. Don't trust this place.

We paid more than 700 euros for an apartment that turned out to be in the middle of a building construction site, completely different from the nice-looking pictures. It was a noisy area, and street noise made sleeping impossible. There was no furniture, the water was cold so we couldn't shower, the kitchen wasn't ready to use even though we'd bought groceries to cook, and we lost a lot of money on them. There were no towels, the WiFi didn't work, and the large terrace was empty. When we asked for solutions, they stopped communicating. Jauo, who presented himself as the manager, lied to us and promised to send people with basics like chairs, cuttlery, and a few dishes and cups. What a disrespectful way to treat people. They destroyed our holiday. WARNING: these people are scammers.
