The reception staff were the best part for me, 10/10 for being friendly and helpful. They can even arrange tours or local experiences. The place is centrally located in Porto and reasonably priced, with one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room to suit different kinds of travelers. The kitchen has what you need for basic meals. There are lots of stairs and no elevator, though, so bear that in mind.

It’s centrally located and well-equipped, but comfort could be better. The furniture is in poor condition, there are unpleasant smells, and the soundproofing is terrible.

It was a nice touch that they left coffee capsules, and the place was clean and just right for two. It’s less comfortable for four: the sofa bed is roomy but not very comfortable, and they hadn’t provided four pillows. I used cushions with a clean towel over them instead. The house is old and has a lot of wood, so you can hear everything. The location is great, but if you’re driving you’ll need to park a bit away. I recommend Trindade parking lot, which is a little farther than Poveiros but much easier to get in and out of.

The apartment was very clean, in an ideal location, and the service was impeccable. Sound insulation is almost nonexistent, though. You can hear people using the stairs to the apartments above, as well as noise from the street.

The apartment has been fully renovated and is right in central Porto. A good spot for a few days in the city.
