We had such a lovely stay and would come back. The apartment was romantic and very clean, with large 180x220cm beds, lots of comfortable pillows, soft towels, and a clean bathroom. There was also a kitchenette, though we didn’t use it. The host, based in the tile shop downstairs, was great. Everything in central Porto was within walking distance, including good breakfast spots and dinner places. You could hear people staying upstairs, depending on who they were, but the shutters and double-glazed windows kept out street light and noise really well.

Second time here, and we’ll be back again. Joao and Bruno are perfect hosts, and the studio apartment is great, clean throughout, with awesome furniture. There are lots of places nearby with good food. Thanks for a great time in Porto, and keep this concept going.

The loft my best friend rented was WAOUH, with a breathtaking view and space for at least 6-7 people. It was calm and peaceful, and everything you might need was there. The owner welcomed us so warmly, showed us around, and explained what we could find nearby. She was lovely, and we were greeted with treats. I’ll leave you to guess what they were! :) Parking can be a little tricky if you have a car, but the owner knows just where to guide you. I’d definitely recommend staying here for 3-4 days in Porto.

Bruno was our greeter and helped us during the stay. Whenever he was around, he was enthusiastic about Porto and full of good ideas for places to go and things to do. He made us feel welcome in the city. We stayed in Studio 2, a light, minimalist apartment with everything we needed, including a fold-away kitchen. It’s in Porto’s mediaeval district, in a beautiful building that also has an architecture/design studio on the ground floor. Ask Bruno about the building if you’d like to hear more. The location is central without putting you right among tourist crowds all day. Ribeira and Palacio da Bolsa are a few minutes downhill, while Torre dos Clerigos and some trendy bars are a few minutes uphill. I stayed here last month and have nothing bad to say.

The building is a beautiful old one, with very clever architectural work. It’s right in the centre, and I’ve stayed twice now because I love the place.
