Go2oporto Sao Bento

We picked this apartment mainly because it's just a few metres from São Bento Station, right in the middle of Porto, and with all our luggage the city's hills mattered. It was a great choice. The place was huge, modern, very clean, well equipped, and warm during our February stay. Thanks so much, and keep up the good work.

Everything was spotless and the flat had all we needed. It's spacious enough for up to six people, with lovely places to eat nearby and a very safe feel to the area. We could walk around and see the city easily from this perfect location.

Porto itself was fantastic, but Studio #36 at the Spot Apartments Sao Bento was a frustrating stay. It was spacious and centrally placed for getting to the main sights, but the bed was uncomfortable, uneven, and sagged in the middle. It was also so low that getting up was physically difficult. Street noise made it harder to sleep. The steep slope to the apartment made walking to and from it extremely difficult, and I wouldn't consider it suitable for elderly guests or people with mobility issues. We also couldn't check in until after 4:00 PM, despite arriving in Porto earlier. We can't recommend this property.

The apartment had been renovated and looked perfect for us. Having a dishwasher was a big plus, and there are several supermarkets nearby, as well as the famous "livraria Lello". The host was incredibly kind: he came out to meet me, then helped with the garage I had rented and with my luggage. I couldn't have asked for better.
