We left the Porto Heroismo studio within 20 minutes because of the mattress. It was covered in stains that looked like human fluids, and the photos show why we considered it a biohazard. The apartment also had bugs, which I photographed. Isabelle, the property manager, refused to refund our weeklong stay even though we left almost immediately because the conditions weren't livable. She told Booking.com we hadn't arrived, and also claimed there were no bugs. We later saw reviews from other guests who said they had contacted police over uninhabitable conditions and a broken oven. Isabelle blamed those guests for breaking it, although her employee Stephanny had reportedly admitted the oven was already broken before check-in. I'm attaching a screenshot of that review too. Avoid this company and its disgusting properties.

We nearly ended up sleeping on the street. They never opened the door or answered the phone. It was a complete scam. Stay away.

The apartment was very clean, roomy, and had everything we needed, including a dishwasher, washing machine, hairdryer, and air conditioning. The beds were comfortable too. The metro is just a two-minute walk away. We'll definitely come back. The GuestH4U team was fantastic, highly recommend them!

We were charged hidden costs: a €300 deposit despite staying just one night, plus €35 for cleaning. The host was unfriendly, and the place is far from the center. He told us parking in front of the building was free, but we woke up to a fine.
