This is a four-storey guest house with eight apartments. It’s an old building with squeaky floors, so you can’t sneak quietly to the bathroom if your partner is asleep. Room 8 has two levels, and the upper one is great for kids, though watch out for the low ceiling. There’s regular cleaning, so you don’t have to worry about taking out the rubbish and such. The location is perfect for exploring Porto as a tourist. You can get to most attractions on foot, and the historic tourist tram 18 stops just around the corner and takes you close to the sea.

The location works well, and the room itself was fine. The furniture needs attention, though: our sofa was dirty and pretty much broken, and the chairs squeaked and had no padding. Wi-Fi was poor for most of the day too. For the price, it was okay.

We spent two nights in a spacious house in Moimenta da Serra that matched its description and photos. The town was small, and the place felt peaceful and pleasant. We explored the neighborhood on foot and drove around Serra da Estrela. We really enjoyed the stay and would recommend it.

Our belongings were stolen here. Avoid staying if you want to keep your things.

The cleaning lady was so nice. We had a good experience and would recommend it.
