HI Porto – Pousada de Juventude - Hostel

The room 0.14 door was broken and took a lot of force to open, with a loud bang. The equipment was old, shabby, and broken throughout. Stay here if you want to feel like you’ve gone back to the last century. For the price, the value is zero.

The toilet smelled really bad in the morning, probably because of a drainage issue. Apart from that, everything was very clean and comfortable, and had been renewed in great condition. There are Portuguese Coffey places nearby with fresh, high-quality breakfast snacks.

It’s 4 am and I couldn’t wait until tomorrow to write this. The place is miserable, moldy, nasty, and full of bugs on the ceiling, beds, and everywhere. At first I was taken in by the view from our private room, but it isn’t worth staying somewhere like this. I can’t sleep, and my wife is really frustrated too. We’re trying to handle it gently and make the best of it. Don’t come here, that advice is priceless.

The view from the balcony made working there a real pleasure, since I spent most of my time out there. It’s a bit far from the tourist areas if you don’t have a car. They don’t provide shampoo or shower gel, but that’s how it is. For a reasonable price, I had a great experience.
