Hostel One Ribeira

The hostel had a great vibe, good hygiene and facilities, and the staff were hospitable. The kitchen was awesome, and they also held events. My only real issue was the bottom bunk, which is so low you can lie down but can’t sit upright in bed. The floors aren’t concrete, so footsteps in the building can cause some noise and vibration. I slept fine with ear plugs.

I stayed for a week and had more fun with the other guests than I’ve ever had at a hostel. Everyone staying there at the same time was really social, and we went out and partied together. The rooms were clean, organized and well kept, while the common areas worked for group games or just playing guitar and relaxing. Everything worth seeing is within walking distance from this very central spot. The staff were the best I’ve come across at any hostel, and I want to thank them personally. My list goes Ariz, Latifah, Dohun and Getter, Ivan, Yule, Arthur, Asia, and then me. (iykyk)

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were tidy, clean and had heaters. I loved staying at this hostel. It’s easy to get around from its spot in Porto’s historical center, and there are group options like city tours and trips to bars or clubs. Totally recommend it.

The hostel’s location made exploring the city easy, and the rooms were comfortable. I especially enjoyed the family dinners and daily activities. The staff were so friendly, especially Ariz, who’s both a great party leader and the nicest night receptionist. If you want a cozy stay with a real social side, I’d 100% recommend Onefam Ribeira :)
