Hotel Porto Interface Trindade By Kavia

The room was spotless and the bed was really comfortable, and the hotel is right in the center. The hotel team were lovely. Breakfast is served at the coffee shop next door, though, and the waitress there was so unfriendly and rude. She never smiled and made the meal uncomfortable. Such a shame.

A handy extra is the metro connection: the Purple line goes straight from the airport to this area, and there’s a station nearby. The room was clean, and breakfast was a buffet in the coffee shop next door. The hotel itself was fine and close to the city center.

The breakfast that comes with the stay is just coffee, a croissant, and a ham and cheese sandwich at a bakery. I asked to pay for bacon and eggs, which were on the menu, but they ignored the request and seemed annoyed that we asked. The location is the only real plus. The room is tiny, and the bathroom light switches off every five minutes, even while you're showering. The balcony is only about 20 cm long, which is ridiculous. The neighborhood feels gloomy, and I wouldn't bring kids here.

The staff at reception were always smiling, friendly, and really helpful, and the place has a minimal feel with comfortable spaces in a great location. Breakfast is a set offering, though I would have liked cereal as an option. In the bathroom, a hook for clothes and a little space for toiletries would be useful. The sink and shower could also have been cleaned better.
