Indulge Porto Flats

The location is great, and it was a nice touch to find the sofabed already made up for our group of five in the penthouse at Indulge Porto Flats. Beyond that, the stay was just okay. I’d suggest it for budget travelers, not anyone expecting luxury. I assumed “penthouse” meant high-end, and that was my mistake. The bedding was clean and fine, but not luxurious, and the towels felt worn. We got just one towel each for three nights. The ensuite shower was stained, and the floor around it showed water damage, so the bathroom really needs a remodel. Also, the shower wall is translucent into the bedroom, leaving no privacy. I tried calling several times the day before check-in and sent a WhatsApp message to get instructions, but got no reply. I couldn’t imagine how to reach the managers in an emergency. I finally heard back after messaging through the booking engine, and was told they don’t receive travelers’ emails for Expedia bookings.

There’s a paid car park very close to the apartment, and we’ll come back to explore Porto properly. The apartment was spacious, very clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen. The building smelled damp.

A classic apartment in a top city center location, with everything within walking distance. Staying here in Porto was the best choice I could’ve made. I’ll definitely be back!

The room had wonderful natural light, and the place felt like staying in a friend’s home. I can’t remember which unit I had. My only gripe was the bed: it was two full mattresses pushed together instead of one queen.
