Letheshome Apartments

From here, you can walk around the whole city centre and reach just about everything you need. The apartment was spotless and very well cared for. When we checked in, the staff shared helpful ideas for getting around, things to see and good restaurants nearby. They also brought us fresh bread every morning, which was a lovely extra. Highly recommended.

We liked it enough to come back to Porto for a second stay. The location works well for visitors: Sao Bento train station is about five minutes away on foot, and shops, clubs and the Louis I bridge are all walkable. Our rooms were spacious, clean and nicely furnished, and the kitchen had what we needed to cook or make breakfast. Warm buns arrived in a basket each morning.

We stayed in the two-bedroom place. The second room had two single beds, but they were quite small, and the older mattresses sagged in the middle. The central location was handy, though the double-glazed windows kept it quiet. They thoughtfully supplied water, coffee and tea, plus fresh bread each morning, and the building has an elevator. I asked twice for fresh towels and was told it could be arranged, but they never came. Service was a bit hit or miss. I would still recommend it.

The staff were warm and helpful, and they brought bread each morning for breakfast, a nice little extra. The serviced apartment is spacious and right in the city centre.
