The reception hours worked well for our midnight arrival, and we could leave our bags for free after checkout. The staff were very kind and helpful. We hadn't expected such a good room: it was comfortable, attractive and very clean, and the kitchen was clean and convenient too.

It felt more like a hotel than a hostel. The atmosphere was relaxed, with a decent kitchen and plenty of tables to sit at. The rooms were spotless, and the beds really comfortable. It's nicely decorated and within walking distance of downtown. I'd definitely stay again.

I had the private blue room. It looked like the photos, but there was a terrible sewage smell on two of my three nights. The room sits right in front of the sewage area under the decked terrace, which the very kind staff had to unblock by hand. I don't think that should be their job. The room was also cold even with the AC/heater on, and I'm not sure it could heat the whole space. I can only imagine how it would feel in colder weather.

Light Point is an easy five-minute walk from Campanha Train Station, and the metro is just up the block. The city centre is only three stops away. We had a ground-floor room with a queen-size bed. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were super soft, and both the bedroom and bathroom were spotless. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We loved the place and Porto, and highly recommend Light Point. We hope to return when we're retired. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
