Liiiving in Porto Downtown Luxury Apartment 3T

We’re really unhappy with this choice and wouldn’t recommend staying here. After we arrived today, we found out the second bed had no sheets or pillowcases, and they wanted €40 to provide bedding for it. There weren’t even kitchen towels, and the kitchen had almost nothing, not salt, pepper, coffee, or more than one dinner knife. The pullout sofa is falling apart, and its small blanket is torn and has no duvet. We used a decorative throw as bedding. When we contacted them, they said they had “no idea we wouldn't sleep in the same bed.” Why advertise two beds if you only prepare one? None of these extra charges were disclosed. The place is sold as “luxury,” but we got very little for it, and they haven’t been helpful. It’s a sad way to end our time in Portugal.

The building is attractive and welcoming, with nice finishes, lovely decor, and a very good location. But a lot of little problems piled up and became hard to overlook. The furniture looked stylish but was in rough shape: we had to move the bed back into place before sleeping, and by morning it would be one or two metres from the balcony door. Only two outlets worked. One night, someone from the company knocked on our door to deliver something we hadn’t ordered, which was actually meant for the apartment across the hall. There were also several problems managing our reservation, especially the disorganized key handover, and they showed little willingness to sort out the resulting inconveniences.
