I wouldn’t stay here again. The mirror was broken and sharp, there was no shower head, and I found long hairs that weren’t mine. The walls are thin, and there’s construction next door, so expect to be woken at 8am. They listed checkout as 12 on Hostelworld, but the cleaning lady said 11. There also wasn’t a safe place to leave luggage.

They canceled my reservation the day before check-in over an incorrect card number, which seemed ridiculous. When I made the booking a month earlier, there hadn’t been any problem.

The room was clean, but the shower swung between scalding and freezing, and the toilet lid was loose. There was no kettle, though in retrospect I might have managed with that killer shower. The neighborhood was noisy, with construction going on almost constantly. I got there around 10:30pm and kept ringing the bell with no answer. As I started looking up a phone number in my booking details, an angry woman appeared and eventually let me in.

The location was handy, with lots of places to eat and supermarkets nearby, but I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it. The room smelled damp, and the glass bathroom door was cracked, which seemed dangerous. The entrance is separate from the building where we slept, and no one explained that, so it was confusing. On arrival the receptionist was very rude, wouldn’t give us the WiFi password, and visibly got angry when I asked to pay the €12 fee by card. My name had been translated into Spanish on the booking, which made check-in harder. The cleaning lady was very nice on our second day and gave us the WiFi password.
