The location was incredible, and the price was super affordable. I stayed five days, and the room was clean, with large, comfortable beds. The building kept it at a pleasant temperature. There were extra shelves and a headboard that helped with organizing things. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water, and the bathroom was well ventilated with no musty smell. Staff were very friendly. The seagulls at the window were always there and made the trip even cuter. A few things could be better: the hairdryer only worked for about 10 seconds a day and had almost no power. I drink tea every day, but there was nothing in the kitchen for heating water, like a kettle or stove. On the third day, a group of young people woke me around 6 am, chatting and laughing. Those little disruptions didn't take away from what was otherwise an incredible five-star experience.

The location was good and the staff were friendly, but the photos don't reflect what we found. There was mold on our room walls, the cleanliness was very questionable, and the beds were really uncomfortable. Everything felt low quality. The worst hostel I've ever stayed in 👎

Check-in was quick and friendly, the beds were comfortable, and the price and location were great. One big problem today: there was no hot water, and I really like having hot water.

For 30€ for two people for one night in Porto, this was a cheap hostel with kind staff and a convenient location. It's basic and not the nicest or most up-to-date place, but it was clean, which matters. We arrived around 11:30pm, after check-in hours, and the man who welcomed us, whose name I forget, was extremely kind and showed us to our room. In the morning he gave us a proper tour and said we were always welcome back. He also let us leave our bags there after checkout while we explored Porto, then pick them up before heading to another city. The two cleaning ladies we saw when we returned were very kind as well. We were a little worried by reviews mentioning bed bugs, but checked our beds and found no signs. Everything looked very clean, and each bed had a towel. I'd recommend it if you're looking for cheap accommodation in Porto. I'm giving it five stars because it's a CHEAP hostel, not because it's a five-star hotel.

I had a perfect three-day stay. They did forget to clean my seat once, but the room was huge, the bed was big, and the warm water worked well. There was always someone at reception, so I could ask anything whenever I wanted. I strongly recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Porto!
