There’s plenty to enjoy here: historic architecture, a lively crowd, loads of gifts and art, and regional food and snacks to try. The market is clean, has restrooms, and connects directly to an underground metro station. It’s a fun place to eat, browse, and take in the atmosphere, so I’d recommend it. The lack of seating is awkward. Unless you’re in one of the table service restaurants, you’ll be standing or sitting on the steps if you want to eat. Also, it closes earlier on Saturdays, which surprised us when we planned to come on our last evening in town.
