ORM - Almada Terrace Apartment

The terrace octopus was so tender it cut like butter, though I'd suggest sharing it since a whole serving could be a bit much for one person. Lėo was welcoming and gave us very good food recommendations. The garlic prawns tasted great with toast for dipping, although I found them slightly overcooked. A relaxed place for a meal.

Leo was on top of everything and really nice to us. After dinner, they even gave us port wine for free. The octopus was cooked just right and tasted so good, and the seafood paella was packed with good stuff and really satisfying. What a gem if you're after seafood and a nice atmosphere.

We'd been turned away from two full restaurants, then stumbled on this one by chance. Such a lucky find, the food was lovely and tasty. We ordered burratta with Parma and fig jam, shrimp with garlic bread, and octopus for the main. Every dish was so good. Leo was really nice and gave us amazing recommendations. Highly recommend coming here 🤭

We had no reservation, but Leo found room for us and remembered who ordered what, even pointing out the dishes when his colleague brought them over. He and the bar colleague were fantastic, and really, all the staff were wonderful. Even when I took a simple drink photo, someone moved a lamp closer so the light would be better. The service was incredible. The food took a little while, but arrived fresh. After some past meals at highly rated places that came out too fast and seemed premade, even microwaved once, this was a welcome change. We had octopus, salmon, wine and a cocktail, and paid around 85€ including gratuity. The salmon had loads of flavor, and asking for the puree on the side made it feel like a whole new dish. I'd tried octopus at ORapido and another popular spot and hadn't liked it, but here the recommendations were perfect and I loved it. Every dish was delightful and full of flavor. We also saw a proposal, which was so heartwarming. The staff helped film it and made the evening feel even more special and romantic. The passion fruit and vodka shots they gave us as gratuity were delicious. I liked mine so much that Leo and the bar staff made one to take away, which made my night 100 times better. It was the perfect meal and place to end our last night. I wish we'd found it sooner, we'd have come every day. Truly 10/10, with good quality food, wonderful flavors and a cozy atmosphere. Dinner is late in Portugal, the waits aren't bad, and YouTube recommendations can be hit or miss, but wandering into places like Almada is amazing.
