ORM - Bolhao Apartments

The bed was very comfortable, and the place was quite clean. The kitchenette has what you need for basic cooking. The location is especially handy, a short walk from Bolhão Market and Trindade station, with its direct airport connection, and just a few minutes from the main sights. Be aware there’s no elevator, so you’ll need to climb several flights of stairs. We also ran into a few maintenance problems: a wooden cabinet fell over, which we reported right away, and the blind on the window across from the kitchen wouldn’t roll up. Sound carries between neighboring units, too. We were woken in the middle of the night by other guests coming and going.

We stayed for three nights. The apartment was small but really cute, with a kitchen that had everything needed, a shower, a large bed with the TV opposite, and a little balcony. Customer service was very good. I’d recommend it for a short stay in Porto.

A stay to forget. There were leaks and defects all over the apartment. They promised a refund, but it never came. Then they accused us of having a party, even though photos show we were out of the apartment. If you’re considering this place, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else so you can enjoy beautiful Porto.

The house was clean and remodeled, with comfortable beds, and otherwise it was a very nice apartment. But a leak from the first-floor bathroom was going into the ground-floor bathroom. We avoided using that bathroom so the leak wouldn’t get worse, which left seven of us sharing one. Also, it’s on the third floor and there’s no elevator.
