Palladium Apartments

The apartment was tidy and clean, and the location is fantastic. But the service was disappointing. We arrived early and called the number on the door as agreed. The person sounded irritated and sent us to a luggage storage address that couldn’t be shared by text or email, which was inconvenient. Once we got there, entering the apartment was no problem. It’s also very noisy, with sounds from outside and people in the other apartments coming through. The website says there’s daily cleaning, but that didn’t happen. We were given one set of towels each for a four-day stay.

A great apartment, with new furniture and a kitchen equipped with a stove, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It’s very close to everything. There’s no private parking, so we had to leave the car in a paid lot about 50 meters away. In this area, it’s very hard to find a place with its own free parking.

The apartment is charming and in a very good spot, right by Café Majestic. They changed our towels every day. Keep in mind there’s no elevator and you have to climb a flight of stairs to get in. I’d recommend it.

My apartment was fantastic, and the renovated building was clean and right in the middle of Porto’s tourist area. It’s a big city, so most things are close by. Driving can make parking difficult, though there are nearby streets where you can park for free if you look up suggestions on Google. I’d gladly stay there again. Porto itself is beautiful. The waterfront is lovely for a sunset stroll, and the port wine region has tastings at different price points. If you enjoy alcohol, don’t miss it! 😉
