The bed was comfortable, the price reasonable, and the place is near Bolhao metro station. But getting in was a mess. You’re supposed to call for the building and room codes, and nobody answered our calls or texts. The main electronic keypad didn’t work, so we were stuck outside for an hour. After our first call, they didn’t pick up again. Other residents eventually let us in. The sink is tiny, there’s no closet, and the website photos and information are misleading.

It’s near the station and reasonably priced, but the service was awful and there was no one available. The photos didn’t match what we’d seen before booking. After a long day out, we came back to find the automatic door broken. They said a technician would come, but we never saw one. A kind woman staying next door let us in, and she’d been left in the same situation, waiting two hours. Porto is fantastic, but stay somewhere else if you don’t want this trip to leave a bad taste.

Apartment 0 was beautiful, with two bedrooms and a double bed in each. The bathroom was lovely, new, and well maintained, and a cleaner came every other day. You need to call when you arrive to get the building and apartment codes. Highly recommended.

The location is very good, and the service was also very good, all handled by phone. Giulia was especially helpful and did an exemplary job. But the door system was unreliable: the main entrance’s electronic lock failed and left us outside for two hours. It was getting dark and raining heavily. The building manager sent a technician, who only arrived two hours after the call.
