We left on the first day of our planned four-day stay. The host acted as if we'd stayed all four days, thanked us for keeping the place clean, and refused even a partial refund. We'd arrived in Portugal as a state of emergency was declared because of wildfires in the area. The whole apartment smelled of smoke, and ash drifted inside when we opened the door. When we asked the host to reschedule, she pretended not to speak English. She did the same with Vrbo when she finally replied to them. After we messaged to say we were leaving, she didn't answer for a week. The neighborhood didn't feel safe to us, and we worried about our rental car. The apartment was relatively clean inside, but the floors were filthy. The air conditioning was too weak to cool it, and there was only enough hot water for one shower. This rental was our first stop in Portugal, and it was a miserable start. Think twice before renting from this horrible, uncaring person. The neighborhood also seems unsafe and far from where you'd want to be in Porto.

There aren't many parking spots, though you can find one nearby with a little effort. The rooms are fine, but I had problems with the owner. My friend was stuck outside in the middle of the night and the owner didn't answer. The doors lock automatically as soon as you close them, so keep that in mind.

It's a good budget-friendly option for staying in Porto. The apartments are fairly new and have all the necessary amenities. It's a bit far from the center, but the area is less touristy and crowded. There's a bus stop nearby, the metro is a 10-minute walk away, and there are some shops around.

This was a horrible experience for our family of three. The apartment was too small, and one AC unit couldn't cool both the living room and bedroom. My daughter got heat rashes all over her body because of it.

The beds were so comfortable, and we could get to everything easily, from shops and cafes to the supermarket and pharmacy. The city center was about a 15-minute walk away. We had a great stay, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
