A real treat to stay here. The hotel is charming, and our room was cozy, with a little seat and table. The shower was lovely, and even though the shower and toilet area was small, it was done very well. They also left us nice chocolates, wine, and water. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Everything was fresh, but there wasn't much variety, and items that should've been warm were fairly cold. It didn't spoil our stay.

We slept really well because it was so quiet at night. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a street view. The staff were friendly and efficient, breakfast had lots of choice and was replenished quickly, and the location was great. You can walk to everything from here. Fantastic hotel!

The bathroom was small, and it was a little hard to control the heater and AC. We had the second-floor room, which had stairs up to another bedroom. Still, I loved the location and would highly recommend this small boutique hotel to anyone wanting to enjoy Porto.

We booked an affordable short break expecting just the basics, then were pleasantly surprised. We got there early, but Hoy was so kind, and our room was ready, so we could check in. It was spacious, clean, tidy, and nicely presented, with complimentary water, tea, coffee, and milk. The shower paint was fading in a few spots. That's not a complaint, and it didn't detract from our stay. Breakfast was included, with a much wider choice than the UK chains. The waiting staff gave great service and information. We'd highly recommend it.

The hotel felt right in the middle of everything, and nowhere was an especially long walk. We loved the location, enjoyed the breakfast, and had a very nice room. It was also a special touch to learn that the hotel houses Europe's oldest stationery store, still run by the same family.
