At check-in, we were asked when we would arrive and chose 14:00. We got there at 14:20, only to be told the apartment wasn't ready. We were sent to another location to collect the keys and pay, and there was no car park there. We had booked a different apartment for eight people, but were put in a unit with only seven beds and towels for seven. The listing showed a balcony with a city view, but ours faced an internal staircase. Inside, the floorboards were damaged throughout, and the fuse box was fully exposed. The fire valves on the staircase were uncovered as well, which seemed to fall short of health and safety standards. The apartment felt unsafe and the listing was misleading. At check-in my card was charged twice. Staff said the card machine had malfunctioned and asked me to enter my PIN again, but gave no evidence that the first payment had been declined. I'm still waiting for the duplicate payment to be refunded. The stay was badly managed and far below expectations. I wouldn't recommend this property.

We had a spacious studio with all the amenities we needed, and the staff were helpful and worked around our needs. After checking out, we were able to leave our luggage at the office and spend more time exploring. The flat is very central, with everywhere we wanted to visit within walking distance. It has what you need for either a short or longer stay.

We booked several RVA apartments for our group, and each one was spacious, clean, comfortable, and in a great spot near restaurants and bars, with the sights an easy walk away. RVA were great to deal with and clearly wanted us to have a good stay. The manager especially loves her city and wants guests to get great service. I'd definitely recommend them.

The street got a bit busy at night, but we couldn't hear it inside at all. My boyfriend and I loved our stay in an RVA apartment. It was huge, spotless, and had a well-equipped kitchen with everything for cooking. Everything was walkable from there, and the reception staff were friendly and really helpful. We'd use RVA again if we come back to Porto!🤩☺️

A modern place with character in a great location. The staff were quick to respond and helpful, including arranging for our late arrival and storing our luggage. Highly recommend.
