I felt very safe travelling alone, and the dorm bed was comfortable, with curtains for privacy plus its own light and power socket. The shared bathroom and shower were beautiful and exceptionally clean. The hostel is lovely, right by a supermarket and several bus stops for getting into central Porto. The staff were attentive and lovely. Breakfast was prepared for us, and there was always someone around to answer questions. Great location and value, with a good breakfast. I’d recommend it 10/10.

The owners are lovely, and the place is beautiful and really clean. There’s a nice kitchen space and a lovely garden out back. It’s a quiet spot pleasantly away from busy downtown Porto, which suited me when I needed to be in the city without being in the thick of it. I’d stay again.

Magali runs Queen’s Gardens Hostel with so much care. She’s friendly, helpful, and patient, and from the moment I arrived the place felt like family and home. It’s super clean, with a fully equipped kitchen including an oven, stove, and coffee machine, plus a delicious, varied free breakfast. There’s a guitar to play and a beautiful yard to relax in, too. It isn’t downtown, but buses 602 and 580 stop right outside, so it’s easy to get around. I’ve stayed at other hostels in Porto, but this is the only one I wholeheartedly recommend. I’ll definitely come back. Thanks, Magali!

Magali made me feel at home as soon as I arrived. She’s a wonderful, welcoming host. Breakfast was well prepared, with thoughtful little touches that showed how much care had gone into it. The hostel was spotless, with a lovely garden to relax in and a cosy sitting room where I could unwind. Highly recommended for a warm, comfortable stay.
