Ribeira Cinema Apartments

It's a cute, clean apartment with a nice view and a central location under the bridge, at sea level. To reach Porto's historic centre, you'll need to walk or take the „train“. People, music and cars make it noisy, but it was fine for two nights. I'd recommend it for a short visit to Porto.

Being able to walk to the center and Ribeira across the river made the location really convenient. The room worked well for a night or two, and the cleaning was a little lacking, though nothing serious enough to make me look elsewhere for a short stay. The bed was very hard, and I woke up with a sore back.

The room was clean and spacious, with a good view of the bridge, so the room itself was fine. But the bar next door plays music outside until the early hours, and there’s no soundproofing. We had no chance of sleeping before at least 3 am. Staff called the police after 11:30, but they never showed up.

The apartment was lovely, recently renovated and decorated, and comfortable, with a great view. They even had a party for their anniversary, with free barbecue. It’s right in front of Luis Bridge, so walking around is very convenient. Just watch out for Google Maps sending you to the top of the stairs: parking there is fine, but the walk back up is long and steep.
