The studio was modern, spotless, and in a good spot, about a 10-minute walk from the main hotel building. But for self-catering, it was missing cups and plates. We were also told we'd get a welcome pack and fresh bread, and neither arrived. I mentioned it at reception, but nothing was done. It's a shame because the studio was otherwise very good. Service matters just as much as the accommodation.

For nightlife, the location is especially handy: most of the coolest bars are only a 10 minute walk away, and it's great for exploring on foot. The rooms are simple and elegant, with a very comfy bed, and the hotel staff have been kind and helpful. I recommend the hotel. One tip for booking a Bolt from the train station or airport: Hotels.com lists an address that doesn't match up in the app. Enter the hotel's full name instead.

I live here and wasn't staying at the hotel, I just went for Sunday roast. The flavor was good, but we all left hungry. For 27.5 euros, we got one piece of pork, a few potatoes, a carrot, one Yorkshire pudding, and a little pot of gravy. We asked for more gravy, but they said there wasn't any, even though we were the only guests and the roast service had just started. I've never had a smaller, more expensive roast.

The staff were very helpful, and breakfast was great. The rooms were beautiful, with great bars and restaurants close by. It's only a 15 minute walk from the centre, making it a great place to stay when visiting Porto.

The room's interior design was beautiful, and the linens were gorgeous. We also really appreciated the coffee, port, and balcony. Such good value for money, and one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. I absolutely loved it, and we'll be back for sure.
