The quiet, clean, safe setting was a big part of what I loved at Ruby Charm Houses. There’s a little fish pond, and the soft trickle of water was so relaxing at night. Miguel and his wife were funny, kind, and accommodating, and made me feel at home. They’d put food in the fridge, helped me find a parking spot for my car, and Miguel shared lovely local tips. I enjoyed the whole stay and would absolutely come back. Ruby Charm Houses gets my highest recommendation, I’d give it 25 out of 10 if I could!

The owners welcomed us with a stocked fridge and port wine, and gave us helpful tips for Porto and the surrounding area. It’s a quiet, pleasant place in the city, about a 10-minute walk to the center, with the metro nearby. I recommend staying here for a visit.

Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast items were an unexpected, generous bonus, and there’s free parking. It was also an easy walk into Porto center, so we’d definitely stay again. Miguel made sure we were looked after from start to finish. He kept in touch after we booked, greeted us outside the accommodation, and gave us very helpful information at check-in. We had a wonderful time at Ruby Charm Houses.

The little studios are just right, with everything you need, lovely decor, and beds that are SOOOO COMFY! The owner is amazing and always available if you need help. It’s a 35-minute walk from the main bridge, which is a lovely way to explore the non-touristy streets, find a local bakery, or pick up fruit from a tiny shop. I thought the place was definitely worth it. If I come back to Porto, I’ll book here again. Thanks for everything. Regards from Australia 🦘 🌏

The garden, location, and host all get five stars from me. Miguel was a great host, happy to help with anything about the city and share good local recommendations. Porto’s metro is very good, and the place is two minutes from a station.
