Getting the keys was a hassle: you have to collect them at one address, then head somewhere else for the apartment. Not ideal when you're hauling luggage around the city. Inside, the place felt old and badly worn. The floors creaked so much they made me feel like I might fall through to the floor below. The bed didn't look inviting either, and gave me strong bedbug vibes. The big, dirty windows wouldn't close properly, so cold air came in overnight. The “kitchen” was just a “table,” two glasses, and a kettle. The bathroom was nearly empty and seemed questionably clean. An unforgettable experience, for all the wrong reasons.

The room was noisy, and we could hear everything on the street even with the window shut. The floor also made a lot of noise when we walked. It was dark and nowhere near a suite, despite the name. They cleaned daily, but didn't replace our towels. There's no AC, though we didn't need one at that time of year. The location is excellent, with everything within walking distance. Staff were friendly and willing to help, even though there's no reception and they had to come from elsewhere. Still, for a comfortable stay in Porto, I'd look elsewhere, even if it costs a bit more.

My flight was cancelled that day, so I had to cancel the whole trip. They wouldn't refund me or even offer to reschedule. I'm now a few hundred euros out of pocket. With customer service like that, I can't recommend this place.

It was clean and not so bad. They provide Ohropax for the noise from the road. Be sure to contact the owner ahead of time to arrange when to pick up the key and pay the local tax.

One star says enough. The place was noisy and cold, and the owner needs to pay attention. I stayed one night and felt I'd wasted my money. I'll never come back.
